Job summary

The Chemotherapy Infusion Registered Nurse position at Evolving Solution Services in Phoenix, AZ, is a full-time professional role within the GYN Oncology department. You will assess patients, safely administer chemotherapy, monitor for adverse reactions, and provide education and support to patients and families throughout their treatment journey.

Requirements include an active Arizona RN license, graduation from an accredited nursing program, at least 2 years of clinical nursing experience

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona.
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience; oncology and infusion experience strongly preferred.
ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Card (must be current or obtained within 6 months of hire).
Required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Responsibilities

Assess patients before, during, and after chemotherapy/infusion treatments, including vital signs and labs.
Monitor for infections, infusion-related complications, and adverse drug reactions; respond promptly.
Verify chemotherapy orders, safety protocols, and infusion parameters to ensure accuracy.
Educate patients and families about side effects, symptom management, and treatment expectations.
Access and maintain central lines, ports, and IVs; draw blood and collect labs as needed.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes.
Document all patient care activities in compliance with standards.
