Zusammenfassung

Mount Sinai Medical Center seeks an experienced Oncology Nurse to provide compassionate care across the cancer care continuum. You will perform comprehensive assessments, monitor treatment plans, and document thoroughly in EPIC while coordinating with the multidisciplinary team.

In this role you’ll interpret chemotherapy orders, manage acute oncologic issues, and educate patients and families on treatment options, side effects, and self-management strategies. Florida license and BLS required.

Qualifikationen

• Licensed or registered in Florida; BSN preferred and BLS required.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Requires ability to independently perform job duties with clinical expertise.

• Demonstrates calm, professional care during crises in patient environment.
• Performs comprehensive nursing assessments for oncology patients.
• Reviews labs, imaging, treatment plans and documentation before provider visits.
• Interprets chemotherapy orders and calculates BSA and ANC.
• Monitors for treatment-related toxicities and communicates findings.
• Provides triage and symptom management for oncology patients.
• Educates patients on treatment side effects and self-management.
• Documents nursing interventions accurately in EPIC.
• Collaborates with physicians, pharmacy, labs, and social work as needed.
