Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join the Oncology Infusion Center team. The APRN will manage selected patients with advanced practice responsibilities, collaborating with physicians and care teams to optimize care delivery.

Position is 40 hours per week with rotating shifts, located at 45 Francis Street, Boston, MA. Requires MSN/DNP/PhD in Nursing, active MA APRN license, and oncology infusion experience with Epic EMR proficiency.

Qualifications

Master's in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or PhD in Nursing required.
Current Adult/Gerontology (AGNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certification required.
Massachusetts APRN license to practice in the expanded role required.
Minimum two years of active oncology infusion nursing experience requested.
Experience with Epic EMR and telemedicine is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides direct patient care, counseling and teaching to a selected patient population.
Performs physical examinations and preventive health measures as needed.
Orders and interprets diagnostic tests and plans care accordingly.
Writes prescriptions and manages medications per policy.
Collaborates with physicians and care team to ensure continuity of care.
Participates in quality improvement and departmental committees.
