Job summary

Care New England is seeking a full-time Oncology/Infusion Nurse Practitioner to join the Breast Health Center at Women & Infants Hospitals. This provider will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality breast cancer care and infusion therapy in a supportive environment.

The role includes weekday daytime hours (Monday–Friday) with no on-call requirements, focusing on patient assessment, treatment administration, and education throughout the treatment journey.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Certified by ANCC or AANPCB.
• Active Rhode Island APRN license or eligible.
• 1+ years of clinical experience in oncology, women’s health, or surgical care preferred.
• Experience with chemotherapy administration and toxicities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Infusion Center provider responsibilities include responding to clinical queries, patient assessment and monitoring, and medication dosing.
• Monitor for adverse reactions and provide education throughout treatment.
• Ensure timely access to care and a seamless patient experience.
• Work within EPIC system for patient records and orders.
