Job summary

Frederick Health Medical Group, LLC seeks an Emergency Relief Medical Assistant for our Oncology & Hematology office in Frederick, MD. This part-time role involves working variable shifts to support patient flow and routine procedures.

You will collect vital signs, document in the EMR, and assist physicians during examinations while preparing rooms and handling basic patient communications. CPR certification and MA credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• Certified/Licensed MA preferred; associates degree or higher in healthcare preferred.
• One to two years of experience in medical practice or clinical setting.
• CPR Certification.
• EMR and MS Office proficiency.
• Ability to work independently and in a team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Escort patients to exam rooms to maintain patient flow.
• Record vital signs and patient history in the EHR.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and maintain supplies.
• Process prescriptions and communicate with pharmacies.
