Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated RN for our Oncology/Hematology Specialty Clinic. You will provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology and hematology patients, including assessments, care planning, chemotherapy and infusion administration, and ongoing symptom management.

You will educate patients and families, coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure adherence to safety and clinical protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments for oncology/hematology patients.
• Develop and update individualized care plans for cancer patients.
• Administer chemotherapy and infusion therapies following protocols.
• Monitor patients for adverse effects and manage symptoms.
• Educate patients and families about treatments, side effects, and care.
• Coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
• Adhere to safety standards and clinical protocols in all procedures.
