Job summary

University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority in Madison, WI seeks a Genetic Counselor - Oncology to join a large, collaborative oncology genetics team providing clinical counseling and case coordination across UW Health affiliates.

You will work in general oncology genetics, high risk breast clinic, digestive health clinic and pancreatic cancer prevention clinic, with opportunities to train students. UW Health offers comprehensive benefits and flexible schedules.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Genetic Counseling from an accredited program; required.
• 2+ years of clinical genetic counseling experience; preferred in a domain-specific area.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical genetic counseling services and coordinate care for patients and families in oncology genetics.
• Work in general oncology genetics, high-risk breast clinic, digestive health clinic and pancreatic cancer prevention clinic.
• Assist in training and supervision of genetic counseling students in the Master of Genetic Counselor Studies program.
