Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is offering a Global Oncology Internship Program in Spring House, PA. The 12-week, full-time internship provides hands-on discovery science experience in oncology with mentorship and a project-based poster presentation at the end of the program.

Interns work a hybrid schedule (on-site three days a week, remote two days) and collaborate with diverse global teams while gaining exposure to ELISA, PCR, sequencing, flow cytometry, and other drug development

Qualifications

• Legally authorized to work in the US with no sponsorship required.
• Must be enrolled in an accredited university program during the internship.
• Not graduating before/ during/ after the internship start.
• Minimum four completed undergraduate semesters or graduate status.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 across coursework.
• Pursuing biology-related degree (e.g., cell biology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, computational biology).
• Graduate students must be enrolled in a master's or PhD program.
• Demonstrated leadership and campus involvement appreciated.
• Strong written and spoken English; excellent communication skills.
• Ability to balance multiple projects and work in a global matrix team.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute experiments as part of oncology discovery projects.
• Attend and contribute to department and cross-functional meetings.
• Present work to project teams and senior leadership; prepare abstracts/posters for symposium.
• Record data accurately and perform data analysis as needed.
• Shadow senior scientists and participate in internship program initiatives.
• Review literature and explore new technologies relevant to projects.
