Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Registered Dietitian to assess nutrition needs and develop plans for patients, employees, and the community. You will lead nutrition therapy, coordinate with the care team, and educate patients on healthy eating to support disease prevention and wellness.

Responsibilities include conducting nutrition assessments, participating in rounds, and ensuring meticulous documentation in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• License from Ohio Board of Dietetics and RD registration (or registry eligible) are required.
• Post-degree coursework or internship in dietetics with ADA/ACEND guidance is expected.

Responsibilities

• Performs nutrition assessment using age-appropriate standards.
• Coordinates nutrition therapy with physicians and other health care professionals.
• Participates in multidisciplinary rounds and care planning sessions.
• Educates patients and families about nutritional therapy and behavior change.
• Documents accurately in the electronic medical record and participates in quality improvement.
