Job summary

Fortrea is seeking a CRA 2 with 2 years of monitoring experience to support Oncology trials in the United States. The role requires on-site presence 8-10 days per month, with a mix of onsite and remote work, and candidates located in the Las Vegas, NV area or nearby.

You will monitor study sites, ensure protocol adherence, manage data quality, perform SAE reporting, and collaborate with vendors and trial teams. Travel up to 60% is expected in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• University or college degree or related allied health certification.
• 2 years of Clinical Monitoring experience.
• 60% overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of site monitoring including routine monitoring and close-out of clinical sites, maintenance of study files, conduct of pre-study and initiation visits; liaise with vendors; and other duties as assigned.
• Responsible for all aspects of site management as prescribed in the project plans.
• General On-Site Monitoring.
• Ensure staff receive materials and instructions to safely enter patients into the study.
• Ensure informed consent procedures and protocol requirements are followed per regulatory requirements.
• Ensure data integrity by monitoring CRFs and data for missing or implausible data.
• Responsible for registry management as prescribed in project plans; conduct feasibility work when requested.
• Complete SAE reporting and follow-up of SAEs.
• CRF review, query generation and resolution per data review guidelines.
• Assist training of new employees, e.g., co-monitoring.
• Coordinate designated clinical projects as Local Project Coordinator and may act as local client contact.
