Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, OH seeks an experienced Research Nurse to implement and manage oncology clinical research across the Mount Carmel Health System. The role ensures high-quality care for trial participants in line with federal regulations, GCP, and IRB policies.

You will coordinate education for stakeholders, screen and enroll patients, coordinate with physicians and sponsors, and manage data collection and submissions while traveling between Mount Carmel facilities as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Current Ohio RN license; CITI training required.
• Minimum five years oncology clinical nursing experience.
• Experience in regulatory/data management for clinical studies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementation of protocol-specific treatment in appropriate clinical setting.
• Coordinate education of all stakeholders for new clinical trials/treatments as appropriate.
• Screen and enroll patients into appropriate clinical trials.
• Provide care management and coordination of patient's care to ensure protocol compliance.
• Coordinate care between the physician, Mount Carmel, and the study sponsor.
• Provide direct patient care in outpatient setting and required inpatient assessments.
• Manage data collection and submission, including query resolution per sponsor requirements.
