Job summary
Nemours is seeking a Clinical Research Nurse to join our team in Orlando, FL. This role coordinates, implements and completes clinical research studies and trials, assisting in screening oncology patients, obtaining consent, educating families, scheduling procedures and maintaining study data.
The ideal candidate holds an ASN with RN licensure (BSN preferred within 3 years) and 1–3 years of clinical research experience; CRC certification or eligibility after 2 years is expected.
Qualifications
- ASN required; BSN preferred within 3 years of hire
- 1–3 years clinical research experience
- CRC certification or eligible to sit after 2 years in role
Responsibilities
- Follows SOPs and Good Clinical Practices; prepares documents for sponsors and audits
- Screens oncology patients and obtains consent/assents; educates families
- Maintains study data and databases; ensures data quality and completeness
- Coordinates sample shipment and central lab procedures
- Assists in adverse event reporting and regulatory compliance
- Prepares for sponsor, IRB, and FDA/DHHS audits and visits
- Coordinates with study team and nursing staff to ensure protocol adherence
- Participates in continuous process improvement initiatives
