Job summary

Virginia Cancer Specialists in Fairfax is seeking a Full Time Clinical Research Coordinator to support screening, enrollment, and maintenance of patients on oncology clinical trials. You will ensure protocol compliance, participate in consent, and coordinate patient care with physicians.

This role requires an associate degree (bachelor's preferred), at least three years in a clinical/scientific setting, and strong communication.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to screen potential trial participants for eligibility.
• Present trial concepts and obtain informed consent from patients.
• Coordinate patient care per protocol requirements and manage drug accountability.
• Document and review adverse events, concomitant medications, and study findings.
• Assist with billing guidance and trial-related documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Support recruitment strategies and education of staff and patients.
