Job summary

Infirmary Health is seeking a Coordinator Clinical Research to manage daily trial activities and ensure protocol compliance. The CCR screens and enrolls patients, schedules tests, and upholds regulatory standards with confidentiality.

The ideal candidate is a registered nurse with recent oncology or research experience, BLS, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical setting in Alabama.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with 1 of the most recent 3 years’ oncology or research experience.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Licensure: current Alabama RN license or Multi-State RN License per NLC for Alabama.
• BLS certification.
• Desired: BSN or higher, understanding of GCP and FDA regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of Word processing and PC-based programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily clinical activities for patients enrolled on clinical trials.
• Screen potential study patients and enroll on protocol.
• Schedule protocol-specific tests and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Institutional, IRB, FDA, and sponsor guidelines and SOPs.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional demeanor in all interactions.
