Job summary

Minnesota Oncology is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist to perform moderate and high complexity testing with accuracy in a busy clinical lab. You will maintain instrumentation, execute QC procedures, and assist with specimen collection to support patient care.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or clinical laboratory science, and ASCP or equivalent certification with at least three years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or clinical laboratory science is required.
• ASCP or equivalent certification as Medical Laboratory Scientist is required.
• Minimum of three years of experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform moderate and high complexity laboratory tests with accuracy.
• Maintain instrument operation and routine QC procedures.
• Assist with specimen collection and patient flow as needed.
• Train staff in laboratory procedures and maintain documentation.
• Oversee daily lab activities in the absence of a supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with quality assurance, safety, and regulatory standards.
