Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Medical Director to lead Clinical Development for the PF 4404 program. You will guide trial design, conduct, and analysis, collaborating with regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance, biostatistics, and medical affairs to meet scientific, ethical, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Medical degree from a recognized institution (MD/DO/MBBS/MBChB).
• Licensed to prescribe medicines independently for at least 2 years post intern/house officer/foundation period.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical development leadership across 2–3 study teams, overseeing trial design, conduct, and analysis.
• Conduct medical monitoring, including eligibility assessment, data review, and safety monitoring.
• Lead interactions with investigators, ethics committees, and regulatory authorities.
• Develop and maintain clinical trial and regulatory documents with cross-functional partners.
• Stay current with literature and guidelines to guide development plans.
