Job summary

Saint Luke’s Health System in Kansas City is hiring a Full Time Oncology Clinic RN for outpatient care in the oncology and hematology clinic. The role supports care coordination, patient education, scheduling, triage, and participates in research studies.

The position is high-volume, fast-paced, Magnet-designated, with no nights or weekends, and can float to Overland Park, Plaza and Lee's Summit locations.

Qualifications

• RN with Associate Degree is required.
• 2 years Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross required.

Responsibilities

• Phone Triage Schedules emergent-need appointments.
• Patient follow-up calls.
• Patient education on procedures and processes.
• Subject matter expert in respective specialty for hospital RNs in the units.
• Regularly meets with other disciplines to share best practices on care treatments.
• Care for patients with a long-term treatment process.
• Collaborate on a care team and provide face-to-face patient care.
• Maintain ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy Certification.

We are adding a Full Time Oncology Clinic RN to our team at Barry Road Monday - Friday 8am- 430pm - No Nights or Weekends This position can float to our Overland Park, Plaza and Lee's Summit locations Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is hiring for an Oncology Clinic Nurse for their outpatient Oncology and Hematology Clinic. This position is part of a rapidly growing program and will assist with care coordination, research studies, provide patient and family education, scheduling, triage, assist with procedures, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary innovative care team committed to improving patient outcomes. This is a high volume fast-paced Magnet designated clinic. This clinic is INCP and QOPI Certified.
