Job summary

The Clinic Nurse (RN) at Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute provides specialized oncology care for patients undergoing chemotherapy. The nurse leads nursing care, assesses needs, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and high-quality treatment.

Applicants must hold an Ohio nursing license (or interim permit) and a CCNE/ACEN-accredited nursing degree; oncology experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from CCNE/ACEN accredited program.
• Current Ohio license or interim permit.
• Experience in relevant care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and provide care to patients and their families.
• Assess, plan, implement, coordinate, delegate and evaluate nursing care.
• Direct and supervise nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team.
