South Shore Health System seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver individualized, outcome-oriented care through the nursing process, coordinating assessment, planning, and delivery of services per hospital policies.

Key duties include medication administration, care planning and documentation, patient/family centered care, safety, and ongoing professional development. Proficiency with Lotus Notes and department software is expected, with adherence to compliance and privacy standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Previous Acute Care RN experience preferred.
• RN - Registered Nurse licensure required.
• BLS/ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC/TCAR certifications may be required depending on department.

Responsabilités

• Medication administration following SSH policies and documentation.
• Develop, update, and communicate individualized plan of care for each patient.
• Initiate admission assessment within 8 hours and identify patient/family teaching needs.
• Document all patient care per nursing policies and unit standards.
• Ensure patient safety and a culture of safety.
• Utilize Lotus Notes and department software; operate in downtime as needed.
• Comply with legal, regulatory, and privacy standards; escalate issues.
• Engage patient and family in planning and evaluating care.
