Job summary

UPMC's Oncology Hillman Cancer Center in Johnstown, PA, seeks a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to join the Oncology team. The APP will provide high-quality patient care with collaborative, evidence-based practice in an outpatient setting.

The role offers regular hours, Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm, with occasional on-call and weekend duties and possible travel to Ebensburg, PA in the future. The team consists of multiple APPs and physicians, led by an APP lead.

Qualifications

UPMC is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our Oncology team. This role is ideal for an APP who is passionate about cancer care and wants to practice within a collaborative environment.

Advanced Practice Provider:

The Staff or Senior Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) is a collaborative member of the care team who provides high-quality patient care through independent clinical judgment and physician collaboration. The APP manages patient care across the continuum, builds strong interdisciplinary relationships, and demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and emerging leadership within the healthcare team.

The successful candidate will be placed according to years and months of experience for employment purposes. The posted salary range for this position is for the Senior level which requires three (3) or more years of experience.
