Job summary

Duke Health Lake Norman is seeking a compassionate Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the Lake Norman Medical Oncology team. The ideal candidate has strong internal medicine and oncology experience and will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide direct patient care.

Applicants should have active NC NP or PA credentials, a commitment to ongoing CME, and the ability to collaborate with supervising physicians and colleagues across the oncology service line.

Qualifications

• 1+ years APP experience preferred.
• Licensed in North Carolina (NC) for NP or PA.
• Master's degree for NP or completed PA program.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the Lake Norman Oncology team.
• Maintain detailed health records and document care.
• Order diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and communicate findings.
• Contribute to patient education and family counseling.
• Support research initiatives and CME participation.
