CHI Saint Joseph Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner, Oncology, to deliver direct patient care under physician supervision and to contribute to a multidisciplinary oncology team across the cancer journey.
You will assess, diagnose, and manage complex cancer care needs, develop personalized treatment plans, manage symptoms, educate patients and families, and coordinate care to optimize outcomes within your scope of practice.
As a Nurse Practitioner, Oncology, you will be responsible for utilizing training and skills to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a physician.
Every day, you will apply your specialized expertise to assess, diagnose, and manage the complex care needs of oncology patients throughout their cancer journey, from diagnosis and treatment to survivorship or palliative care. This involves conducting comprehensive assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, managing symptoms, and providing crucial education and emotional support to patients and their families, all within a multidisciplinary team.
To be successful in your role, you will meticulously provide direct patient care, utilizing your specialized training and skills to assess, diagnose, and manage oncology patients under physician supervision.
