Job summary

CareerNerds, LLC, based in Rutland, Vermont, seeks a full-time Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join the Foley Cancer Center. The role spans outpatient, inpatient, ED, and telehealth oncology care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.

The position requires NP or PA licensure in Vermont, 2+ years oncology experience, and certification as applicable. Relocation and loan assistance are available along with a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• NP licensure in Vermont with ANCC certification.
• PA licensure in Vermont with NCCPA certification.
• Minimum 2 years oncology or related specialty experience preferred.
• Unit-specific certifications (ACLS/TNCC/PALS/ENPC) as applicable.
• Ability to obtain Vermont licensure and work in a fast-paced, team-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive oncology patient care under physician partnership.
• Obtain medical histories and perform focused physical examinations.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage oncology-related conditions and side effects.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and lab results.
• Develop and implement treatment and symptom management plans.
• Educate and counsel patients and families.
• Coordinate care across inpatient, outpatient and emergency settings.
• Maintain accurate documentation and clinical communication.
• Participate in QA/QI initiatives.
