Job summary

Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers is seeking a compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Medical Oncology team. This role offers working at the top of your license with a patient-focused approach and strong collaboration among physicians, nurses, and support staff.

The ideal candidate is clinically strong, well-organized, and passionate about delivering exceptional oncology care in a supportive, team-based environment.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner MSN from an accredited program and successful completion of NP program.
• Minimum of 3 years as practicing NP, preferably in oncology.
• RN licensure and current state nursing board registration.
• Current BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates care for patients.
• Initiates and documents interventions; prescribes therapies as indicated.
• Performs procedures with minimal supervision.
• Provides patient/family education and support.
• Promotes wellness and community resource utilization.
• Contributes to evidence-based practice and documentation.
• Completes charge capture and medical record documentation in a timely fashion.
• May provide case management for patients and families.
• Collaborates with nursing staff and participates in clinical trials research.
