Qualifications

• Master's Degree is required.
• Post Graduate Diploma or Certificate Program is required.
• PA license or APRN credential is required.
• ACLS and BLS certification required within the stated hire period.

Responsibilities

• Assess health status and care needs of patients and families.
• Plan, manage and evaluate therapeutic regimens with physicians and health teams.
• Educate and counsel patients on health status and illness signs.
• Assess growth and development in patients as needed.
• Perform clinical and therapeutic procedures.
• Lead development of nursing care policies and unit procedures.
• Help plan and monitor quality improvement for the unit.
• Document history, physicals and clinical data.
• Identify abnormal findings and consult with physician.
