Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health seeks a Registered Nurse for the Oncology department in Aurora, CO. The position is full-time with day and night rotation, on-site only, and offers a competitive hourly pay range. Night shift incentives add bonus earnings for full-time night staff.

Minimum requirements include an accredited RN program graduate with RN licensure and BLS certification. At least 6 months RN experience and chemo/immunotherapy exposure within 1 year are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited RN program; RN license required.
  • BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross; CPR for Professional Rescuer.
  • Chemo/Immunotherapy experience or training within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care using the nursing process.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes.
  • Prioritize wellness and evidence-based practice.
  • Precept new staff or students in clinical settings.
  • Care for Acute Care (Med-Surg) patients in a high-acuity environment.
