Job summary

Novellis Health is seeking a skilled board-certified Medical Oncologist and Hematologist to join our growing private practice with Richmond Hill and Brooklyn locations. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality clinical care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

The role involves administering chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies, interpreting diagnostic tests, educating patients, and coordinating with nurses and care staff.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board certification in Medical Oncology and Hematology.
• Active and unrestricted NY State Medical License or eligibility.
• Completion of an accredited fellowship in Medical Oncology & Hematology.
• Proven outpatient and inpatient clinical excellence.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Two languages preferred, Haitian Creole highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat oncologic and hematologic disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in consultation with patients and care teams.
• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy and other treatments.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and imaging results.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, prognosis and options.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and case discussions.
• Coordinate care with nurses and support staff.
• Contribute to research, quality improvement, and education initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and ensure regulatory compliance.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist to join our growing team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality clinical care in both our Richmond Hill and Brooklyn locations, collaborating with a seasoned multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with oncologic and hematologic disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in consultation with patients and care teams.
• Administer and oversee chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and other specialized treatments.
• Interpret diagnostic tests, including laboratory, imaging, and pathology results.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, prognosis, and treatment options.
• Actively participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and tumor boards.
• Collaborate with other specialists, nurses, and support staff to coordinate comprehensive care.
• Participate in research, quality improvement, and educational initiatives as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and institutional regulations.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Board Certification in Medical Oncology and Hematology.
• Active and unrestricted NY State Medical License (or eligibility).
• Completion of an accredited fellowship in Medical Oncology & Hematology.
• Proven track record of clinical excellence in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and evidence-based practice.
• Additional languages highly preferred, especially Haitian Creole.
