Job summary

OptumCare Cancer Care in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Medical Oncologist to join a multi-specialty group focused on integrated, value-based cancer care. The team emphasizes individualized treatments, shared decision‑making, and coordinated care within a 55,000 square‑foot Cancer Center.

The role offers a Monday–Friday office schedule, team‑based support, and inpatient consults for established patients. Relocation assistance and access to clinical trials are provided.

Qualifications

• BE/BC Medical Oncology required.
• Current DEA certificate required prior to start date.
• New Graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Office Monday–Friday schedule.
• Call shared among the team.
• Inpatient consults limited to established patients or those that qualify for our services.
• Integrated team‑based model with oncology advanced practice clinicians, a breast care team, and a radiation oncology team.
• Completion of an Internal Medicine Residency & Hematology/Oncology Fellowship program.

OptumCare® Cancer Care is seeking a Medical Oncologist to join our multi-specialty group located in Las Vegas, NV, to help shape the future of integrated, value-based cancer care.

We also have our very own state of the art 55,000 square‑foot Cancer Center located at the gateway to the Las Vegas Medical District. Together with our multiple locations across the Las Vegas Valley, it’s how we’re providing patients with the premium care they need and deserve. OptumCare® Cancer Care Services offers medical oncology, surgical oncology, imaging, semi‑private infusion bays, angio suite, and breast care. We also offer additional services such as palliative care, genetic counseling and a patient resource library. OptumCare® Cancer Care will be adding a new, full‑service location September 2025 in Henderson, Nevada.

Schedule and Practice Details:

• Monday - Friday Office Schedule
• Call shared among the team, only 1 week at a time
• Inpatient consults only involve established patients or patients that qualify for our services.
• OptumCare® Cancer Care deploys an integrated team‑based model including oncology advanced practice clinicians, a breast care team, and radiation oncology team to best serve our patients
• Completion of an Internal Medicine Residency & Hematology / Oncology Fellowship program
