Job summary

MEDLOG USA/SEI Acquisition is seeking an Onboarding Specialist - Intermodal to coordinate contractor hiring for our fleet. The role focuses on meeting DOT/FMCSA standards, timely onboarding, and strong communication with applicants and Terminal Managers.

You will manage a regional pool, ensure compliance, and work a standard M-F 8:00–4:30 schedule onsite. This position emphasizes integrity, safety, and continuous improvement within a fast-growing logistic provider.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years recruiting experience, preferably in intermodal trucking.
  • Experience building and maintaining DOT/FMCSA contractor files.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to resolve questions promptly.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related tools.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in onboarding files.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and related privacy requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Successfully manage a region of contractor applicants throughout the hiring process.
  • Work with new applicants to complete onboarding in a timely manner.
  • Consistently communicate with applicants regarding carrier processes.
  • Be pleasant, patient, and responsive to questions while resolving issues.
  • Collaborate with Terminal Managers on the applicant pool and transitions.
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am - 4:30pm.

Job Summary and Responsibilities:

TheOnboarding Specialist - Intermodal will be onsiteandis responsible for communicating with contractor applicants and leads to hire qualified contractors to our existing fleet in an efficient and timely manner. Constantly striving to ensure that all contractor applicants’ files meet DOT and FMCSA standards and requirements.

  • Successfully manage a region of contractor applicants throughout the hiring process
  • Working with new applicants to complete the onboarding process in a timely manner
  • Consistently communicate with new contractor applicants regarding carrier processes
  • Ability to be pleasant, patient, and responsive to new contractor applicant’s questions and concerns while working to resolve any issues
  • Work together with Terminal Managers (TMs) assigned to their region on applicant pool and transferring the contractors over to the TMs on the contracting date
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am - 4:30pm
Skills & Experience:
  • Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Power Point)
  • Strong skills and knowledge on building DOT/FMCSA contractor and equipment files
  • Strong communications skills to meet goals with applicants completing files
  • 1-3 years’ experience in recruiting, preferable intermodal trucking with Tenstreet software experience a plus
  • Need to have knowledge in HIPPA compliance
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and solve problems in personnel related situations
  • High School Diploma/GED required
