Job summary

A leading cruise line company is seeking onboard Historians and Destination Speakers to provide educational presentations and engaging interactions with guests throughout the cruise. Candidates should have exceptional public speaking and presentation skills, as well as a deep knowledge of American history and ecology. The role requires a positive attitude and ability to connect with well-traveled individuals. Candidates will work 7 days a week while onboard and will have travel and accommodation expenses covered.

Qualifications

• Extremely polished public speaking skills required.
• Excellent and polished presentation skills.
• Extraordinarily knowledgeable of the history and ecology of ports of call.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily formal presentations supported by PowerPoint visuals.
• Narration/commentary while the ship is underway.
• Participate in daily hosting of Shore Excursions.
