Job summary

Manthey Hospitality is hiring a Food & Beverage Manager to lead day-to-day onboard dining, bar, banquet, and event service across our Nashville Riverboats. This hands-on leadership role operates on the vessel, working alongside the team to ensure exceptional service, safety, and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of progressive F&B leadership in high-volume environments, with a strong front-of-house and cost-control background.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive F&B leadership experience in high-volume settings.
• Strong front-of-house operations, beverage service, labor management, inventory, and cost controls.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold employees accountable.
• Hands-on management style with willingness to jump into service.
• Attention to detail and proactive problem solving.
• HR fundamentals including documentation and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day onboard food and beverage operations across dining, bar, banquet, and event service.
• Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable for service, cleanliness, presentation, and professionalism.
• Be highly visible during service, actively supporting the team and engaging with guests.
• Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and develop staff and emerging leaders.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings and ensure staff understand cruise, safety, and events.
• Create a positive, professional work environment and address concerns promptly.
• Partner with HR on hiring, onboarding, training, and employee relations.
• Manage scheduling and labor based on cruise volume and events.
