Job summary

First Merchants Bank in Wisconsin is seeking an OnBase Developer to design, develop, and implement OnBase solutions. The role emphasizes Unity scripting, API development, and configuring OnBase modules such as Workflow, WorkView, and Unity Forms to streamline processes.

You will collaborate with analysts and stakeholders, document configurations, test solutions, and pursue continuous improvement to drive operational efficiency across the organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience as an OnBase Administrator or similar role.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience with OnBase Unity Scripts.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in .NET scripting languages (preferably C#) and SQL.
• OnBase Certified System Administrator and Certified Hyland Developer Specialist.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring solutions meet business objectives and add value.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress, system performance, and any issues that may impact business operations.
• System Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct thorough testing of OnBase solutions to identify and resolve issues, ensuring robust and reliable performance.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of all OnBase configurations, customizations, and workflows to ensure transparency and facilitate future enhancements.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for system enhancements, process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Partnering with Peers: Collaborate with teams at First Merchants to ensure systems meet both business and technical requirements, ensuring scalability and security.
• Execute: Deliver on major business projects on time with quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
• OnBase Certified WorkView Administrator.
• Experience with other Enterprise Content Management systems.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Knowledge of data integration and migration techniques such as Web Services, Webhooks, and Rest APIs.
• Strong knowledge of OnBase architecture and modules.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
