Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Route Driver to ensure timely and safe delivery of goods across multiple locations. The role emphasizes excellent customer service, on‑road professional representation, and strict adherence to routes and safety protocols.

The driver will operate daily routes, load/unload cargo, and maintain delivery records while coordinating with dispatch and customers to minimize delays.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Operate a delivery vehicle to transport parts to designated customer locations according to a pre-planned route.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring items are secured; care required; lifting up to 50 lbs; may use equipment for heavier lifting.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery confirmations.
• Communicate with dispatchers, sales team and customers regarding delivery schedules and delays.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues to ensure safety and compliance.
