Job summary

American Tire Distributors is seeking a Delivery Driver (non-CDL) in North Carolina. The role focuses on on-time delivery, safe handling, and professional customer interactions while transporting products from origin to destination.

You will unload and stage products at customer locations, verify shipments, and maintain logs and paperwork in compliance with regulations. The job requires strong service conversations and sales-friendly communication with customers.

Qualifications

• High School or GED degree.
• 1-2 years of related experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Abide by all Company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations.
• Assist in verification of outgoing and incoming product for accuracy in terms of size, amount and type.
• Collect payments from customers in monetary form acceptable to Company.
• Efficiently unload cargo and stage products at customer’s place of business.
• Ensure all administrative paperwork concerning delivery orders required to move with shipments is available for inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies delivery.
• Maintain professional representation of the Company in all interactions with customers and through responsible driving.
• Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations, including driver’s logs, fuel purchases, mileage records and other records required by law and Company policy.
• Occasionally operate powered industrial vehicles (forklift pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.).
• Timely transportation of product from origin to destination as assigned
