Job summary

Ceco Concrete Construction is seeking a Welder to support concrete construction projects on site. The role involves cutting, joining, and repairing metal components used in formwork, rebar assemblies, and structural supports, with a focus on safety and timely delivery.

Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years of aluminum and steel welding experience, MIG welding for carbon steel & aluminum with a spool gun, and a certification.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of welding experience with aluminum and steel.
• Experience in Mig Welding Carbon Steel & Aluminum Spool Gun 30 Amp Miller Gun.
• Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Layout components in accordance with detailed prints provided.
• Fit up components and verify tolerances.
• Set up weld equipment for specific tasks.
• Weld components using proper equipment and techniques.
• Grind and finish welds to make aesthetically appealing.
• Perform daily housekeeping tasks and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Operate material handling equipment as needed based on safety guidelines.
• Other miscellaneous duties as needed.
