Great River Learning seeks a Web Designer Intern to turn creative ideas into accessible, engaging materials for print and digital media. This on-site role in Dubuque, IA offers 10–15 hours per week with a flexible schedule starting Summer 2027.

The ideal candidate is a graphic/web design student with strong communication and problem-solving skills, proficient in PhotoShop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, HTML and CSS, and eager to learn in a collaborative team.

Formación

• Ideal for a student majoring in Graphic Design, Web Design, or Marketing who has coursework in web design and computer sciences and strong written and verbal communication, graphic design and problem-solving skills.
• Applicants must have experience using PhotoShop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Dreamweaver or similar web development tools, as well as HTML and CSS.

Responsabilidades

• Creates web designs for online books in GRL's content management platform using HTML and CSS.
• Understands and employs UX best practices to build web designs that are easy to use and accessible to all users; manages design versions with GIT.
• Creates print cover designs for GRL print books and ebooks.
• Designs digital and print marketing pieces.
• Uses digital graphic design tools to sketch diagrams, infographics, and simple illustrations using PhotoShop/Adobe Illustrator.
• Performs additional duties and other responsibilities as assigned.
