Job summary

CVG is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support field operations by organizing the warehouse, handling tools and equipment, and transporting materials to job sites. The role requires safe operation of vehicles, a strong work ethic, and willingness to learn in a fast-paced construction environment.

The position emphasizes following safety protocols, maintaining an orderly warehouse, and assisting with jobsite setup and cleanup while ensuring resources are available for efficient project execution.

Qualifications

• Experience on construction sites preferred.
• Proficient with hand and power tools.
• OSHA 10/30 certification preferred.
• CPR and First Aid training preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow CVG safety program; wear PPE per policy.
• Direct traffic to protect pedestrians and crews.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and company vehicles as needed.
• Load and unload construction supplies from trucks.
• Transport materials to job sites and dispose of waste properly.
• Assist in jobsite setup and cleanup and debris disposal.
• Help install job safety boards and site signage with the team.
• Maintain a safe, organized warehouse; store materials and tools properly.
• Oversee ShareMyToolbox tool-tracking and jobsite billing.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance records and safety compliance.
• Keep certifications current (OSHA 10/30, etc.).
