Sandvik Mining in Juneau, AK is seeking a Warehouse Professional to manage shipment, receipt, and distribution of materials onsite. The role requires forklift ability, lifting up to 50 lbs, and a team-focused approach to maintain inventory accuracy and safe operations.

Responsibilities include cycle counting, exporting documentation, coordinating shipping, and collaborating with the workshop team and customers to ensure timely delivery.

Formación

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent years of experience in a warehouse environment
• Minimum 6 months related warehouse experience
• Commitment to being a team player and contributing to operational efficiency

Responsabilidades

• Update and maintain warehouse location system
• Assist in cycle counting and physical inventory
• Prepare export documentation as required
• Arrange shipping/transport
• Build relationships with workshop team and customers to ensure smooth operations
• Participate in customer on-call service as required
• Expedite urgent orders to ensure timely delivery
• Identify and report unsafe work habits or incidents
• Comply with safety policies and regulations
• Audit goods received into warehouse
• Oversee receipt, storage and shipment of materials
• Coordinate schedules for shipping and receiving materials
• Ensure procedures, space utilization, and equipment protection are effective
• Operate a forklift and lift up to 50 lbs
• Performs other duties as assigned by Warehouse Supervisor
