Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking an On-Site Warehouse Associate to perform shipping and receiving at a customer location, ensuring correct items are delivered promptly and inventory is well maintained. This role spends more than 50% of the time at the customer site.

Responsibilities include receiving items in the system, picking and packing, preparing deliveries, handling returns, maintaining organization, and possibly delivering to customers with signature.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is typically required.
• Basic math and reading comprehension are required.
• Basic computer skills are required.
• Forklift certification and a valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Receive items in the computer system to show which items are available for the customers.
• Determine which items need to be picked, checked and shipped from sales order.
• Pull orders accordingly to the sales order and recheck them to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare items for delivery to customer.
• Secure packages to ensure no items are damaged in shipping to customer.
• Prepare customer returns for shipment back to Distribution Center, Fulfillment Center, or supplier.
• Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to established MINO code organization of products.
• Report damaged inventory to the warehouse supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized, and safe working environment.
• May deliver items to customers and obtain signature to validate receipt of items.
• May process counter sales or invoices for customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• Typically requires a high school diploma or GED.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
• Basic computer skills.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to move up to 100 lbs and lift up to 50 lbs.

Licenses & Certifications

• May need to be certified to operate a forklift.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
