Job summary

Baptist Urgent Care in Bartlett, TN is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver high-quality urgent and primary care. You will diagnose, treat, and educate patients across ages with a variety of acute and chronic conditions, working with a collaborative healthcare team.

The role requires active APRN/PA license, board certification, and DEA/DOT credentials, with a rotating 30–40 hour/week schedule (12-hour weekday shifts, every-other weekend).

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Active state APRN/PA license.
• Current FNP or PA-C board certification.
• Current DEA license or eligibility to obtain.
• Current DOT certification or willingness to obtain.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide convenient, friendly patient care to all who come through our door seeking health related services.
• Provide leadership and assistance during emergencies while maintaining a comforting, reassuring presence for patients.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with long hours, varied locations, and frequent contact with others.
• Perform medical assessment, treatment, management and follow-up for clinic patients (primary care, urgent care, occupational health, DOT physicals, workers' comp).
• Perform medical procedures (laceration repairs, nail removal, pap tests, injections, splinting, drainage).
• Establish and monitor appropriate level of care for clinic patients.
