Job summary

Gov Solutions Group is seeking a skilled Trajectory Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency's Targets and Countermeasures Engineering Directorates. On-site in Huntsville, AL, you will contribute to pre-mission trajectory validation and performance analysis for flight test events and provide onsite expertise during flight events.

Responsibilities include developing ballistic missile target vehicles, modeling and simulation, trajectory analysis, and data product development, with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance, US Citizenship required.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, Java, C#, and other programming languages.
• Experience with trajectory development tools (TAOS, POST).
• Experience in Design, CAD, Trajectory, Radar Cross Section (RCS) Signatures, Optical Signatures.

Responsibilities

• Support the MDA Targets and Countermeasures program office with development of ballistic missile target vehicles.
• Assist TC System Engineering in requirements development, modeling, simulation, and test analysis.
• Generate and analyze 6DOF trajectory data for target vehicles.
• Support mission planning, analysis, and reporting activities.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop analysis tools and data products.
• Engage in database requirements, schema development, interfaces, and data management.
