Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Preferred warehousing or distribution inventory experience.
• Pharmacy technician licenses as required by state boards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Basic computer skills are required; familiarity with pharmacy codes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fills prescriptions and prepares IVs under the supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.
• Enter data into the computer system for prescriptions and reimbursements.
• Prepackages medications for dispensing under pharmacist guidance.
• Assist in final checking of filled prescriptions and packaging for delivery.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and rotate stock, noting lot numbers and expirations.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure equipment calibration and cleanliness.
