E-Therapy is seeking an On-Site Special Education Teacher in La Vergne, TN to deliver specialized instruction for K-12 students. This role requires an SPED endorsement and a valid TN license, with a classroom team including SPED aides and interventionists.

The position is full-time, onsite, with a 50-student caseload and a starting wage of $40/hour, commensurate with experience. The successful candidate will develop IEPs, use assistive technologies, collaborate with families and school staff,

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
• Valid state teaching license or certification in Special Education.
• Experience teaching students with disabilities in a school setting.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement IEPs for students with disabilities based on assessments and collaboration with parents and staff.
• Provide specialized instruction in core academic subjects and functional skills, adapting materials to meet student needs.
• Use evidence-based teaching practices and assistive technologies to facilitate learning.
• Monitor and assess progress towards IEP goals and adjust interventions as needed.
• Collaborate with general education teachers to promote inclusive practices and provide accommodations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, IEP meetings, and communications with parents and stakeholders.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to review progress and interventions.
• Provide support to paraprofessionals and staff working with students with disabilities.
