Job description

Performance Software is a medium-sized company with a great work/life balance, specializing in providing innovative embedded software to our client companies. We are looking for passionate Software or Systems Engineers to design and develop software solutions for upcoming state-of-the‑art safety‑critical systems, especially in the areas of Avionics Flight Controls. Experience developing Avionics Flight Controls systems is a must. These positions can be full‑time with great benefits or hourly with excellent hourly rates, and Medical/Dental/Vision benefits are available.

This position can be either Direct Hire or Contract but will be on‑site in Phoenix five days a week.

Pay DOE: $70-$90/hr

Experience Required

• Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.
• Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent development experience.
• Software Development in C/C++.
• Debugging and Lab experience.
• Preferred to have experience in surveillance and data collection software.
• Experience in DO-178 and DOORS.
• 5+ years of experience.
