Job summary

Pearson Carter is seeking a hands-on Software Developer to join a manufacturing IT team in Plymouth, Indiana. You will develop, support, and troubleshoot custom software across multiple facilities, with exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

The role requires strong C# and C skills, experience with Windows and Linux, and a practical approach to solving business and technical challenges. On-site five days a week with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong C# and C programming skills.
• Experience with Visual Studio and .NET.
• Experience working with Windows and Linux environments.
• Understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• D365 Business Central experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot applications using C#, C, .NET, and .NET Core.
• Develop across Windows and Linux environments, including network and serial integrations.
• Support custom software deployed across manufacturing facilities.
• Work with SQL Server for data querying, analysis, and reporting.
• Support integrations with D365 Business Central.
• Develop and customize D365 BC tables, pages, reports, and code units.
• Collaborate with business teams to identify and develop software solutions.
• Support Windows/Linux servers and other on-site systems.
• Work with RFID labeling, ZDesigner, and ZPL where required.
