Job summary

Implementation Engineers is expanding our Maintenance & Reliability practice and is seeking experienced Reliability Engineers to support upcoming heavy industrial and mining projects across the Southwest.

We are looking for engineers who enjoy solving complex reliability challenges, partnering closely with client operations teams, and delivering measurable improvements in equipment performance and asset reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Mining, or related Engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of Reliability Engineering experience in heavy industrial environments.
• Experience supporting open-pit or underground mining operations and mineral processing assets.
• MSHA certification or experience at MSHA-regulated mine sites.
• Ability to work full-time on-site for the duration of the engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and sustain PM strategies for mobile and fixed plant equipment.
• Lead RCFA analyses to identify failure modes and implement corrective actions.
• Improve asset reliability across crushing, conveying, grinding, and processing systems.
• Analyze performance, history, and KPIs to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Collaborate with planners, operations, and engineering to prioritize reliability initiatives.
• Support FMEA, RCMS activities, and use CMMS to optimize maintenance.
• Participate in shutdown planning and reliability improvement projects.
