Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Quality Inspector to oversee field inspections and quality audits on construction projects in Rocky Hill, CT. The role requires hands-on leadership, technical expertise, and coordination with construction contractors to ensure compliance with codes and project specifications.

On-site position with potential for flexible scheduling on project needs; valid US driver’s license and substantial field experience are required for site visits and client engagements.

Qualifications

• HS plus ten years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Experience coordinating field inspections and audits is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Serves as a technical expert in field inspections and quality audits.
• Provides guiding direction for inspections on engagements.
• Sets direction and goals for inspection and/or business line.
• External spokesperson on technical project issues.
• Leads the audit strategy for the area of expertise.
• Oversees construction inspectors on assigned project and ensures compliance with codes and regulations.
• Work directly with construction contractors.
