Job summary

The Intersect Group in Irving, TX is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise network infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and data center environments. You will lead network changes, troubleshoot complex issues, document configurations, and collaborate with vendors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience supporting, designing, implementing, and administering enterprise-scale networks.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise routing, switching, and protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, HSRP, VLANs).
• Professional networking certifications such as CCNP/CCIE or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network infrastructure issues across enterprise environments.
• Provide Tier 3 technical support for network incidents, problems, and escalations.
• Document troubleshooting activities and maintain accurate network diagrams and runbooks.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to maintain network availability and performance.
• Execute approved changes, maintenance, and upgrades with minimal disruption.
• Support cloud, data center, and hybrid network architectures; participate in DR planning.
