Job summary

Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) in Bethesda, MD, seeks a Senior Ansible & Linux Automation Engineer for 100% on-site support of Navy clients. The role focuses on Red Hat Linux, Ansible Automation Platform, and automation content development across enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate will build, secure, and sustain automation capabilities, integrate with ITSM and monitoring, and provide Tier 3 support for RHEL systems while advancing security and compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance required.
• 10+ years Linux system administration experience (RHEL/CentOS or equivalent).
• 3+ years Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform experience.
• Experience managing AAP components: Controller, Hub, EE, inventories, templates, RBAC.
• Experience automating DISA STIG compliance and vulnerability management.
• Experience supporting NIST SP 800-53 aligned environments.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and optimize Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform 2.x components.
• Develop reusable Ansible playbooks, roles, and collections.
• Build custom Execution Environments with ansible-builder.
• Migrate AWX/Tower workflows to containerized AAP environments.
• Integrate AAP with ServiceNow, Git/GitLab, Satellite, Splunk, and monitoring tools.
• Provide Tier 3 engineering support for RHEL across on-premises and cloud.
