Job summary

Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is seeking on-site Security Officers for the Silver Springs, NV area. Full-time, part-time and flex schedules are available. Candidates should be reliable, punctual and capable of professional interaction with a diverse client base.

Wage range is $16.00–$20.00 per hour. Benefits include medical and other coverages, 401K options, paid training, and paid time off. Prior security or customer service experience is a plus; a driver’s license may be required for

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Standard computer / technology skills needed.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Security experience a plus.
• Driver's License required for some locations.
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner.
• Must be able to conduct patrols throughout shift.
• Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Secure entrances / patrol inside and outside the client’s premises.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues or hazardous conditions.
• Clearly and quickly report any suspicious activity.
• Provide detailed written witness reports.
• Monitor CCTV and control access as required.
• Guard against theft and maintain a safe environment.
